The host, the layout, lovely bath ,plenty of hot water. king-size bed, nice bedding and decent towels. Conservatory was an extra space, if needed. There are nice touches, fresh milk, a can of soda, a large bottle of water, tea & coffee, biscuits, crisps & chocolate are there for guests. In the village you have a....(Working mens club) 2 pubs, a cornershop, and a chip shop. Nice church and the village has friendly locals. A nice place to visit, I left early on the Sunday morning to walk up Pendle Hill which is less than 30 minutes away. (Also found a hair dryer and straightness I didn't use them though 😅

Brilliant location: very central for amenities and also close to the footpaths I needed to for my Pennine walks, Private, self-contained accommodation with its own outdoor area, but comforting to know the host is close to hand if required. Benefiting from a full-size bathroom and small dining conservatory with sofa and tv, as well as the spacious bedroom with comfortable double bed, lovely bedding and a second tv, the roomy apartment has a homely feel. With a full-size fridge in the kitchenette and generous supplies provided by the host, both breakfast and my packed lunches were taken care of. The nearby pub does a fabulous set menu and I'd have been delighted to stay longer than the 4 nights I had allotted!

Huge bedroom with conservatory next door was useful and the bathroom was gorgeous.
