- Located in a beautiful oasis of paddy fields which made for a nice escape from the business and noise of the city - Very clean and comfortable rooms with incredible views of the garden and canyon - Our room was ready on arrival allowing us to check in early which was greatly appreciated after a very long bus ride! - The food was really tasty and the portions were very generous We loved it here on the whole and wished we could’ve stayed longer than one night! It is a very calm and tranquil place to stay.

My stay at Padi Ecolodge was truly memorable, especially because it was my first time experiencing a traditional Minangkabau style house. The architecture is stunning — the unique curved roof and wooden structure gave such a cultural and authentic touch. Inside, the room was simple yet comfortable, and being surrounded by rice fields and nature made the atmosphere so peaceful and refreshing. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making the stay feel personal and warm. Waking up to fresh air, birdsong, and a view of the green landscape was a highlight. It felt like stepping into a different era, where tradition and nature blend beautifully. Overall, Padi Ecolodge is not just accommodation, but an experience in itself — one that combines comfort with culture.
