We had a great experience staying in Ida Guesthouse. Our room was clean and the location of guesthouse was perfect. We went for two day trekking trip which the owner organised for us and it was absolutely amazing! Our guides made sure we well taken care of. The staff has exceeded our expectations, they were extremely helpful in all matters. The owner helped us to organise everything and helped us to try some durian - great experience. Our guide Dee was passionate and professional, we truly felt like he loves the job and was genuinely a great trekking companion making funny jokes and making sure that everybody is having fun and we surely did. He was very knowledgeable about jungle and orangutans. The owner has helped us organise transport as well. We have never experienced a better stay and there are no words to describe how satisfied we are. We sincerely 100% recommend this place.

The accomodation is very well located in the turistic center of Bukit Lawang. The room is so clean, like one of the best we saw in SEA. We did the trekking with them and it was unforgettable. You could see that the guide Toby loves the nature. We kept our distance from the animals (no inappropriate behavior from the guides) and we had fun even when we were tired from walking.

Everything! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Mudhi was always available to help or have a chat! The room was spacious, clean and well decorated. Sitting on the balcony watching life on the river was the best way to relax in the afternoon. The food was so good we ate here most of the time. The jungle trek and rafting were a definite highlight. Thanks to Dee and Udu for being great guide and cook (and Udu for the camera work too!). Staying here will stand out as one of our best stays this trip. Thanks to everyone for making this a great stay. Also, it is well worth booking your transport, there and back, with Mudhi.
