We stayed as a family of four at Koh i Noor guest house. The guest house is run by a lovely family who try their hardest to make your stay enjoyable. Our quad room was a good size, decorated with traditional decorative pieces. Beds were traditional but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and well looked after. Breakfast options were varied and of a high standard. There was fresh fruits and salad as well as eggs and crepes. Unfortunately we had gotten into a routine of going to sleep late which meant we missed breakfast on a couple of days. In spite of this, the host would offer drinks and juices when we would eventually surface!! The host recommended a very reasonably priced local tour guide who we used for a walking tour on one day and the second day for a tour of sights that couldn’t be reached by foot. The guest house is in a good location and most of the local sights can be discovered by foot. All in all, we had a lovely stay. This is an extremely old guest house that has been cared for extremely well. Be mindful that there is a no shoes policy in the rooms.
