I was confused when I arrived because the picture of the intersur hotel , did not match initial search, recommended stay, and comparison. I was recommended to go to Booking.com, and was given a recommendation in the area of Recoleta as part of a group art tour from Edmonton, Alberta Canada. It was meant to keep us in a safer area and near to one another for the purpose of safety and convenience for or trips and meals, et cetera. The area was not safe at night and although walkable during the day, it had a lot of dog fecis and some homeless other people targeting for money and or sleeping on the sidewalk. I was confused when I drove up and could not even find the hotel announcement as it was so tiny and hidden by an area of construction scaffolding. I was made aware after I had paid for my stay that I had the incorrect hotel intersur, and was actually at Intersur Hotel Suites!! my money was nonrefundable immediately, the actual hotel intersur was completely booked, as was all the recommended hotels in the area. As a single traveller, it was extremely distressing to not have any control to making change to my error. I know that originally I was booking with the correct hotel and somewhere along I errored to check the address. thankfully I did not find any bedbugs, cockroaches, and the absolute highlight on the property was the staff. They were able to help me as being walked to a taxi cab with a language barrier, to get to my group under an extreme state of anxiety and feeling unsafe. They tried to get me a hotel to someone somewhere else, even though at the time I could not afford to pay for a full stay somewhere else. It was their kindness, especially the night shift during this week that allowed me to enjoy my stay there.
