We absolutely loved the cosy decor & everything in it! All to a very high standard. The setting is beautiful, the trees, the river & the little balcony is wonderful. Loved the selection of board games too, we enjoyed them on the balcony! We cannot wait to return.

The best staycation we have had in a while - Hosts were accommodating with an early check in for us to enjoy more of our stay (even left us a with few treats to enjoy). The property has everything you’ll need even if you don’t plan on venturing out - if you do it’s very close to the seaside, shops and restaurants. Hosts are on site which is handy but you definitely do have privacy to enjoy your stay. Everything is a described and is perfect for couples or anyone looking for a nice getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon.

The Barley Mill is the perfect little hideaway. Well appointed, beautifully decorated with such attention to detail in the furnishings and fittings. The location was perfect to walk through the nature reserve about 30min (watch out for ticks in the long grass) and total tranquillity. Fire pit by the stream was a nice touch, as was dozing in the afternoon sun on the balcony!
