As a Personal Travel Planner (200+ hostels, 35+ countries), my standards are exceptionally high. This place is a rare find of excellence. I’ve stayed here three times (15+ days) and keep extending because it’s hard to leave; it feels genuinely like a safe, peaceful, and comfortable home. Everything is immaculate! Exceptionally clean. The bathrooms are spotless at any hour. The stunning shared kitchen is organized and equipped like a professional restaurant. Common areas are wonderful, featuring elegant workspaces and a signature scent of freshness that is unforgettable. Breakfast is excellent, generous, and honestly priced. The location is unbeatable: central, walkable, with public transport, a metro station, and a Lidl at the doorstep, plus all essential amenities nearby. The social program and bar are great, with staff even inviting guests door-to-door for activities. The community is remarkable: respectful people from different generations connecting naturally. In all my travels, I have never witnessed such a healthy and inspiring social atmosphere. A special mention to Petra at reception: when I arrived in severe ear pain, she kindly researched and scheduled a doctor for me. That level of humanity saved my trip and is unforgettable. This isn’t just a hostel; it’s one of the finest hospitality experiences I’ve had worldwide. Deepest thanks to Niki, Petra, Barbi, Domi, Jasmin, Réka, Michael, Laura, Fanni, Patrick, Ági, the entire team and supervisors Nóri and Bebe. The staff, in particular, the receptionists at the front desk are simply SUPERB. They are helpful, polite, friendly and super nice. Maverick hostel is the cleanest, the best hostel , I have ever experienced.
