A magnificent old building with high ceilings obviously renovated with a lot of passion, dedication and attention for detail. Well equipped rooms, comfortable beds, spacious (!) rooms. Super friendly and helpful owners: an absolute recommendation, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else when coming back to Budapest :)

The check-in instructions were super clear, so no issues there. The place was nice and clean, though. Our room looked just like the photos, honestly even prettier in person. It was spotless and dust-free. The bed linens were crisp and fresh. I didn’t even notice the microwave and fridge at first they just blended in but they came in really handy for warming up food. We also bought a bottle of wine and then realized we didn’t have a corkscrew. By pure luck, there was one in the utensil jar. Such a thoughtful touch, it’s clear the hosts think about what guests might actually need. The bathroom was fabulous. Loved the rain shower. Everything was clean and there was plenty of toilet paper stocked. The TV is a smart TV, so we easily logged into our own streaming apps. Getting around was easy transport links were just 5–10 minutes away. There’s a Tesco about a minute’s walk and takeaways within 2–3 minutes. It’s near a busy road, but we didn’t notice anything beyond normal city noise. We asked for a late checkout, and they let us stay until 12 PM at no extra cost, we really appreciated that. They also let us leave our luggage for a few hours before we headed to the airport, no charge.

The room is spacious, and the location is great—close to a tram station, making it easy to reach major attractions. There’s also a supermarket nearby. The service is excellent, and the staff responded to us very quickly.
