We chose Island Hostel Budapest as our accommodation for a running event. We stayed for one night from March 20th to 21st, 2026. We stayed in a quadruple room with bunk beds. The room was clean, as were the beds and the bathroom. There is a pub located right next to the hostel, and the terrace offers a beautiful view of the nearby Parliament building. The staff was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

Amazing location , beautiful views and the island is gorgeous, the beds were really comfy, the shower nice and hot, the kitchen had great facilities, excellent lockers and easy to use entrance key fob , the terrace is fantastic and the staff absolutely wonderful and it all feels very welcoming, relaxed and safe!

I was in Budapest to dance. Hostel was very close to the dancing venue. As a rest I could take a walk around the island. It certainly has many thigns to offer.

One of the most friendly hostel I’ve ever lived! The receptionist is really warm. She kept confirm with me the time for late arrival, gave me traveling tips, and introduced me to other travelers. The beachside scenery is magnificent. Fresh air, quiet rooms. Nice memories with past visitors and hand painting covering the entrance and all over the walls in the hallway.
