City Hotel Ring is a perfect hotel for spending a weekend in beautiful Budapest. The location is spot on, situated in a chic and civilized neighborhood, just two steps from Nyugati Railway Station and Margaret Bridge. It's also close to the Parliament area, St. Stephen’s Basilica, etc. Basically, most attractions are within 2–2.5 km of the hotel, which are distances easily covered on foot, especially if you’re still young and full of energy. At the same time, the boulevard where the hotel is located is lined with supermarkets (SPAR, Penny, etc.) as well as restaurants and fast-food joints, ranging from Turkish specialties to pizzerias and Hungarian restaurants. The hotel rooms are modern (you can tell they were recently renovated) and the amenities are top-tier. Breakfast is also very good, with a solid selection (omelets, sausages, four types of bread/rolls, juices, milk, coffee, jam, croissants, everything you’d want), and it’s regularly topped up by the kitchen staff. We were actually pleasantly surprised that we got our room earlier than expected (check-in was from 3:00 PM, but we arrived around 1:30 PM). For me and my travel buddies, it was an excellent stay, and I can say from the heart that City Hotel Ring is highly RECOMMENDED!
