Large room with comfortable bed & spacious bathroom. Evening meals excellent with plenty of choice on menu, vegetarian &vegan well catered for. Very good breakfast, again plenty of choice, good value.

The property was lovely and clean, it was above a restaurant which I thought was fantastic as we didn’t need to worry if we wanted food. It was quiet and the staff were extremely friendly! I would definitely book to stay here again it was a great location.

Lovely place to stay, staff are very welcoming and I would highly recommend a stay if you’re passing through. Breakfast was lovely and the view of the river Dart was also very nice from where we sat. Room was comfortable and clean. All in all it was a very pleasant experience I would very much recommend.

The location for the polar express experience was perfect. Shame about the very noisy road outside. The member of staff who checked us in, possibly Harry, was very polite and friendly.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Nicole went out of her way to help me out as I’d forgotten my charger plug. She also helped me out with knowledge of the area & was very pleasant to chat to. Breakfast was very good and set me up for a day of exploring. Dinners were good but would have been good to see more vegetable centric dishes. My room was warm and comfortable as was the bed. The shower was brilliant- powerful and hot.

Staff serving dinner and breakfast were friendly and attentive which was nice as I was on my own. The room was quiet and all very clean and tidy.
