This is a perfect place to stay in for someone coming to explore Dartmoor and the Devon coast, as the house is just in the middle between the two destinations. It has a Co-Op just nearby, several cafes and pubs within walking distance, a petrol station and even a railway station, although that one is a tourist attraction (we loved it!). There is a free parking lot just in front of the door. The house had everything we needed for a family of three. It was also quite dry and warm, which was a pleasant surprise. The host is willing to go an extra mile to accommodate her guests, which we also appreciated very much.

Cosy, warm cottage with some nice homely touches. The location was good for us as it was just off the centre of Buckfastleigh. The host was very accommodating when we arrived earlier than expected! My youngest son enjoyed the bingo game and the teenager loved that Netflix was included 😆
