Gorgeous hotel in a perfect location. The staff were beyond helpful and the garden bar had a great atmosphere. Rooms were fine with comfy beds and soft sheets, plus a yummy breakfast, what more could you want?

The hotel is housed in a beautiful building and has a restaurant/bar that was always very lively. It is located in a residential area and was very quiet at night as a result, which was a plus for a good night's sleep (the restaurant was very lively though so made up for that). It's conveniently placed to get to the airport bus (15 minutes walk or so) and discover Bucharest as a whole (very close to the Parliament and about 10 minutes from the old city). The room I was allocated was great: very spacious, well appointed, with a great bathroom and with air-conditioning (a must during Romanian hot summers). I had breakfast at the hotel, which was good without being extra special - great spread of savoury options. I also made the most of the restaurant and the food was excellent, with generous servings. On departure, the check-out was easy and the receptionist very helpful; he kindly stored my luggage until I came back later on in the day before leaving Bucharest.
