Situated in the centre of Bucharest, Hotel Lido by Phoenicia is a historical hotel dating from 1930, designed by the famous architect Ernest Doneaud. Hotel has, what struck us, as a traditional east european feel to it, through its decor, fittings and good service. Staff were very helpful and efficient. The room was clean and a good size for our city break. The hotel location is in central Bucharest and the main attractions were walkable or only a short metro ride away.
