This is a hotel that looks and feels like it caters for business travelers. Clean, efficient, very friendly staff. The room was neat and clean, but rather 'no nonsense'; quite small for two people, with a view of a busy road and a long hallway with many doors in a row that gave it a prison vibe. (Not that I have any experience with prisons other than seeing them on screens :-) The breakfast however made up for any space constraints. That was very nice, a large selection of healthy and less healthy choices. Dinner was great too. BTW, there is a great Indian restaurant just over the road, 300m away. We used this hotel to visit Preikestolen, a very nice drive from here via the ferry at Lauvvik, while on the return journey we took the Ryfylketunnelen, which is a must-see engineering highlight all by itself: 14.4km long, 292m down.

The room was good, nice shower and plenty space for bags, clothes and new stuff. The breakfast was good. The staff was nice and helpful. The bar had good beers and Whisky. The BIG pillow in the bead!
