It was spacious, comfortable, and relaxing. I felt very much at home. The garden is beautiful, I found it very tranquil. Hadiza, the owner, and her staff, particularly Faith, showed great hospitality. I recommend this place it's a hidden gem.

Mount Pleasant is a well kept and organised place, with a wonderful big garden. The spacious apartment has all facilities you'll need, including a fully equiped kitchen. Exceptionally good is the Wifi, it even has a power back up system, so whatever happens, the wifi stays working. They'll have two (European) mountainbikes for rent. As Mount Pleasant is situated in a friendly and safe local neighbourhood, I used the bike a lot to discover the area, the beautiful beaches nearby and other neighboarhoods. During my 9 day stay, I felt more part of the local community than being a tourist. And last but not least, the host is a worldwise all African woman, with a London twist She's very helpfull, a great conversation and a good laugh too. With her strong local network she'll help you getting around and feel at home. I'll definitely will come back here again. It won't get any better elsewhere, my advice; book for multiple nights to enjoy everything the accommodation and local area has to offer.
