Michelle “Lovely stay if you don't sweat the small stuff”

Location is remote but not an issue if you have a rental car like we did. We traveled with our almost 2 year old and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are all lovely. The food is generally good but not amazing, we had better pasta and pizza outside of the hotel but one of the fine dining restaurants on site (Donna Floriana) is especially good and they also had a special menu for kids which was a welcome surprise. The Kaigan sushi bar on site was also pretty good - it wasn't amazing sushi by Asian standards but I think because I was expecting it to be bad I was pleasantly surprised that it was okay. The kids playground and pool area was superb, we used it daily and it never felt too crowded. The aircon was very good in our room and much appreciated with the heat outside we had to deal with. The beds in our room (both in the bedroom and the sofabed) were very comfortable and a lot of pillows were provided. We were generally happy with our stay and had a lovely time.
