Excellent location as it’s very close to ferry wharf, train station and opposite The Anglers Rest which has the best pub food. We arrived by car but there is parking close by. The staff is friendly and the owners evidently take great pride in their motel as it is thoughtfully presented and has extra touches such as microwave, toaster, cold water , organic coffee beans with a press and fresh milk in the room. Effective air conditioning in rooms, comfortable king beds and the heated towel rack is an added luxury. We had two rooms one of which was an upstairs renovated room. The downstairs room had a shower accessed by climbing into a very deep bath which would be unsuitable for anyone with physical problems. Both rooms were very clean and nicely presented with a dining set in each and a lounge in the downstairs room as well.
