The building itself is beautiful and the pianist in the lobby is a great touch-It creates a lovely ambiance. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The whole stay was very relaxed and even though it is so central noise was to a minimum which was great. The welcome treats and drinks were delightful too!

It was our first time in Brno. We spent two nights at the Grand Palace Hotel. This wouldn’t have been possible without the kindness and flexibility of Mr. Dario Vilmon. We had planned to travel to Brno in January, but unfortunately my partner and I was sick! I called the hotel, and Mr. Vilmon, who handles the reservations, reassured me that we wouldn’t lose the money we had paid in advance and was flexible about changing the dates! Upon arrival, we literally stood there like children, marveling at how impressive and beautiful the hotel lobby was. The welcome at the front desk couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful! We had the opportunity to meet Mr. Vilmon in person; we saw him another 1–3 times, and he wanted to know if we were enjoying ourselves and if we were satisfied. Our room was on the 3rd floor with a window overlooking a relatively “busy” downtown street! But the “old-style” double-paned windows provided excellent soundproofing! That’s very important to me! We had quiet, peaceful nights! The room was modern and clean, and everything we might need was there! Not all the housekeeping staff spoke German or English, but that wasn’t a problem either; with a little kindness and help, they always understood what we wanted to ask for. The breakfast is fantastic, plentiful, with vegan and vegetarian options (I don’t know about gluten-free, since we don’t need it). The alá cárt restaurant menu at the hotel is fantastic, and the chef is very flexible! The hotel is located in the city center and features its own private outdoor and indoor parking. The most famous attractions and trendy pubs are just a few minutes’ walk away! The best possible location! The receptionist, Uliana… she’s not just a receptionist! ♥️ She’s so much more! Thank you for all the great recommendations (food, drinks, and sights in the city). Just seeing her made our day!
