The hostel is in a great location, although it took me a while to find the entrance! The staff on reception were friendly and checked me in quickly. I only needed to stay for a few hours overnight so I remained in the lounge instead of using the dorm room, and found it comfortable enough with a good range of seating. Checking out early in the morning was a breeze too and the hostel is close enough for a nice quick walk to the train station.

The check in was very efficient and the mistake I'd made with my reservation was quickly resolved. My first impression of the building and its location was very positive. It was easy to find my room and bed which had beautifully crisp white bedding. The toilet and shower were Ok but a little TLC is probably about due. The seating space at the back of the building was comfortable but it would have been nicer to have had it as a quiet sensory space without the background music. The cafe at the reception was excellent, the staff were great and the coffee was very good. I didn't try the prepared food but others were eating and it looked great.
