It was a true locals pub but food was great . Friendly staff Nothing unpleasant about it, Food was great

The staff were welcoming and kindly helped us with our bags. They gave us information about entry out of pub hours and checked whether we needed a table reserved for tea. The beds were comfortable and tea and coffee facilities were in the room and refreshed each day. The shower worked well and was clean, with plenty of towels, and a heated towel rail which kept the room at a good temperature.

Stayed here last night. Absolutely fabulous staff, friendly and very helpful. Accommodation was excellent with a huge bedroom. Excellent location for us. Will certainly stay here again if in the area. Great food too.
