Absolutely perfect for a weekend stay. Bristol can be very expensive and this was good value in a lovely Georgian hotel in a great location. I stayed in a 'cosy' room and this was the best use of a small space I've ever come across. Staff were really friendly, and cleanliness and decoration were both top end.

The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay a success. When we checked in, our key was missing and on checking our room, staff discovered it was not ready so the lady immediately moved us to a wonderful one on the third floor. It was light and wonderfully clean. The little extras, such as the fruit and Elemis products were so welcome and I loved the little decanter and glasses. The decoration was modern and warm and the bathroom was beautiful with a claw footed, roll-top bath. There was a wedding at the hotel so we did not get a chance to explore the bar etc so will have to come back again to do so!! The location is just around the corner from many cafes, including the Boston Tea Party which was ideal for breakfast and also a short walk to Cabot Tower (my legs are still hurting!). We stayed for an event at the Bristol Beacon and also enjoyed a walk around the nearby cathedral.

The location was very convenient and in a lovely area. The staff were are very friendly too. And the room itself was very comfortable and enjoyable
