Guest houses Overview

On the Brighton and Hove seafront, The Gather Inn is a fun place to eat, drink and stay. The property is located just 2 miles from Brighton city centre and overlooks Hove lagoon. The Gather Inn benefits from limited free on-street parking in surrounding roads.
There are 20 rooms, 16 of which are en-suite. All rooms have a plasma TV with Freeview channels and tea/coffee making facilities. We do not offer breakfast/brunch anymore, but there is two cafes just across the road from us.
The Gather Inn also has 2 bars. Our Seaview bar is a great place to relax and meet friends, we have a pool table, Plasma TVs and a range of board games. We also host a bi-weekly karaoke, which takes place every other Saturday evening from 7-11:30. On the lower level you will find the Patio Bar, which features a raised dining area with views across the lagoon, an outdoor patio area, plasma TVs and a children’s seating area with games.
At the Gather Inn you will find locally sourced, homemade food with many options on the menu. The bars offer a selection of wines, cocktails, real ales, craft beers, lagers and ciders. Guests benefit from various special offers and discounts.
Brighton Train Station is a 12-minute drive from The Gather Inn. Brighton Pier can be reached in 30 minutes by public transport.

The Gather Inn perform a pre-authorisation on your credit/debit card to cover incidentals during your stay.
Parking instructions: park directly outside the property before the metres, or behind the building, for 4 hours free parking and then it's free between 18:00 - 08:00. The roads opposite are also free from 12:00 -18
The reception is open until 10pm for check ins. After this, it's possible to make arrangements for a self check in, however you must call us before 10pm for these arrangements to take place.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Ideal for us & street parking so available , perfect ! We enjoyed our meal , liked the atmosphere & views of the activities on the lagoon ! We couldn't have stayed anywhere more suitable for us as a couple in our 60's as ground floor room , perfect !!!

The room was lovely, lots of space, good facilities, clean with comfortable beds. A fan was available which helped to cool the room as the weather was hot. The welcome was warm and the staff were helpful. We ate our evening meal at the pub and the food was good. The Gather Inn is located on a main road, but noise was not a problem and we were able to use public transport to access Brighton centre. Would go back there, highly recommended.

Free parking right in front of the Inn. No breakfast offered but instead very nice options just on the other site of the street. Close to the beach. Bus 700 in front of the Inn took us to Brighton in 20 minutes. And we had a seasight view in our room.
