Located on the banks of the beautiful Ovens River, guests at Merrimeet Cottages enjoy lovely views from private patios. Bright town centre is less than 5 minutes’ drive away. Guests enjoy free WiFi in all rooms.

After a relaxing day swimming or fishing, guests can enjoy the free BBQ facilities on the riverbank. The nearby walking trails are perfect for discovering the local scenery.

Absolutely everything, beautifully presented, quiet, very comfortable, well equipped for short or long stay. Wood burning enclosed fire, very efficient heating the cottage. Beautiful gardens and easy walking access to restaurants and shops via the river. The hoist, Alistair was very polite, helpful and happy to give advice concerning the cottage and surrounding area, we had a wonderful time.

Lovely surroundings, short pretty walk along Ovens River to pleasant township.No need for car once there, as many things are located nearby. Spacious and adequately equipped apartment. Peaceful and private. Loved big spa bath and charming slow burning firebox. Highly recommended.

Close to the city, you had a beautiful walk little garden little courtyard and the fireplace is wonderful
