Great hotel, so convenient for the train station. We stayed for 1 night then went off to Zermatt for a night and then returned to the Victoria for another 2 nights. The decor is dated but we really liked the quirkiness, especially loved the aqua coloured tiles and style of bathroom in room 303. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a little balcony with chairs and views of the mountains. Breakfast was great. The staff were really friendly. We'd Definitely stay there again

Pros: friendly, professional staff. Nice clean room. I stayed in the Single room which was good value for money. The room was spacious enough for a single person. Great location across the road from the Brig train station which I used to connect to visit places like Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen (both required 2 changes which were non-problematic) and Zermatt (direct). I chose Brig to avoid the high hotel prices if you stayed somewhere like Interlaken. Breakfast ok as it had 2 x coffee machines. Continental breakfast on offer - the only hot food being boiled eggs.

Great location and less expensive than staying in Bettmeralp or other ski station. Hotel was also very quiet despite being just across the street from the train station.
