The room was large and well appointed and we spent a very comfortable night. The breakfast was excellent and was served by a very chirpy young lady who looked after us very well.

Absolutely amazing time staying here, I have used a lot of hotels and this one hands down is the best. Room was big and facilities was very clean. Nice touch with tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. Nice big towels and complementary soaps and shampoo. Staff could not be more friendly and inviting. Breakfast was beyond expectations with a vast majority to choose from. Again staff could not help you more and made sure we had a good stay. Definitely using theses again.

This is our forth over night stay at The Down Inn. The Inn is out of town with a large park area. The rooms are large and well furnished. Access to the bedroom corridor from the bar is by a flight of stairs and from the car park is by a steel emergency style (short) flight of stairs. A very good choice of food and friendly staff. What’s not to like?
