Very cosy accomodation and near to Hadrian’s Wall & Talkin Tarn which we were visiting. Comfortable bedrooms. Good communication from the owner.

We had a couple of days away as a family in Feb half term. It was really handy for Hadrian's Wall, and it was warm and cosy even in wintery conditions. We enjoyed walking up through the farm and seeing the animals (wellies were a good idea). Kids aged 4+7, plus parents, this was perfectly sized for us and I think we'll be back.

Our second visit. The facilities are great, it's dog friendly and having an enclosed garden for the dog was great. The area is full of good dog walks and lovely countryside and so many dog-friendly cafes, restaurants and places to go. We'll be back as it's a great base for all that the North Lakes has to offer
