The location was at the end of a lane right next to the bridleway that goes up to Whinlatter Forest visitors centre. Very quite and amongst nature. Lovely. The host was very helpful and friendly.

Location is perfect for exploring area and walks from front door, great views and wildlife. Last stayed at Oak Lea over 30 years ago as a child and didn't disappoint, left with the same happy memories this time!

We loved the location, up at the end of the valley, dead end for cars, but access to Whinnlater Forest on foot or bicycle.
