This cottage was lovely. We went as a family of 3 and there was ample space. It was in a quiet setting with a river running next to it. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to family and friends.

The location was great, with Whinlatter Forest on your door step and a beautiful river to walk next to. The accommodation was clean and well presented, with a bottle of bubbly to welcome us and a card from the owner in the post! It was also warm and cosy despite the cold weather.

Lovely little cottage in a very quiet location, nice little river running close by and some lovely walks with stunning views just up from the cottage. Lovely and clean inside and out with a nice little welcome gift of prosecco from the owners along with a card in the post and a phone call to make sure everything was ok. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for out 4 day stay. Amazing views from pretty much every window of the cottage and with very little light pollution the stars are incredible. Would love to come back again.
