Lovely pub. Restaurant was really nice food was good. We had the steak and it was cooked exactly how we asked for it to be cooked. Service was excellent from checking in to our room, our evening meal and delicious breakfast. All the staff we had the pleasure to meet were lovely couldn’t do enough to make our stay so comfortable. The room was clean, comfortable with nice little extra touches. Very comfortable bed & pillows. Would definitely stay here again if visiting York.

It is a very warm & welcoming place to visit. Staff cannot do enough for you. Clean & comfortable. Spacious room. Lovely bathroom.
