The fine print
Children under the age of 13 are offered free breakfast. Free lunch and dinner can be taken from the children's menu when at least 1 main course is ordered from a full-priced table d'hote or à la carte menu. A charge of 10 GBP applies for guests bringing pets onto the property.

Location was good and being able to park on site a bonus. The staff member at breakfast she was very polite and helpful. The size of the bedroom and bathroom were good and our family would definitely consider staying again.

The hotel is in a lovely country area. We needed accommodation for me, my wife and son as we were on a university trip to Leeds but needed accommodation near Bradford to meet our son's girlfriend's parents! The room was large for all of us, and we had a great stay. It was clean and comfortable. It was a wee bit noisy when we first arrived - a wedding reception I believe - but this died out very early and wasn't an issue. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we walked along the road to a garden centre for breakfast. But, we did have a drink in the bar and that was fine - very friendly staff throughout the stay. Just make sure you register your car registration with reception so you don't pay a parking fine!! We did go for an 8km or so circular walk before heading off. Lovely countryside...

We were initially put in a first floor room, and because my husband has emphysema and the lift was out of action I asked if we could have a ground floor room! And we were given an executive room at no extra cost!

Proximity to where I needed to be, pleasant rooms albeit the proximity of the toilet to the basin unit made it a little tight for a big guy.
