Please note that all bookings for 5 rooms or more will be charged in full on the day of booking. The payment is non-refundable.Deposits will not be refunded for bookings cancelled over public holidays, Christmas or New Years Eve.Please note that Craig Manor Hotel only has a few dog-friendly rooms. A maximum of 1 dog per room is allowed for an additional charge of GBP 15 per night. Please call the hotel to check availability before booking.Guests with children should call the hotel before booking to check availability of family rooms.Please note that the card provided will be pre-authorised 48 hours prior arrival.Half-board rates include an allowance of GBP 28.50 per adult, per night, which can spent on dinner.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Lake facing room is a must, not only for the lake view but also no road noise as Craig Manor is on the main road from Windermere to Bowness on Windermere, took advise from previous customer reviews, this is my 2nd visit now over the last 2 years. For visitors that don't want to drive whilst on holiday, walk out of the hotel turn left, 15 minute walk to Windermere for cafes bars and restaurants, or out of the hotel turn right is Bowness on Windermere with the above and the added bonus of the lake boat trips, perfect.

Breakfast was limited but good, although the donuts were a little stale. Staff were friendly, location was good with enough parking. The view from the breakfast area was great. Good places to eat within walking distance.

Hotel was very clean. Bar and breakfast was in a lovely clean and modern area. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Parking on site. Great location. En-suite bathroom was modern and clean with lovely toiletries provided. Picture perfect view from breakfast and bar area also bedroom window.

Great location and property has been refurbished in the public areas to a good standard. Cleanliness good and buffet breakfast also very good. Staff friendly and attentive. Only negative is size of rooms (manor room). Far too small to justify the price, somewhat claustrophobic even with just 2 people. Can’t change the size of the rooms but should adjust the room rate accordingly.

Location great, hotel easy to find on main road, easy and ample free parking, room very clean and cosy, modern bathroom, plenty of hotel facilities including bar, seating areas, breakfast lounge with view to lake and mountains. Breakfast very good.
