The location was beautiful, very serene right out in the countryside but with a couple walk-able pubs, exactly what we wanted.

Character property in very peaceful and rural location in a quiet lane not far from two great pubs, one with great views. Lots of space with a grand staircase and comfy cosy sitting room. Wood burners too. Near to Windermere and easy access to the whole of the lakes area. Take supplies, the nearest shop/petrol station is some miles away.
