I absolutely loved the four poster bed, what a treat! The food was also fabulous, and the staff were so friendly. I often get bad service when eating out alone, but here I felt very well looked after. It's located in a beautiful part of Dartmoor too.

Small but lovely room, hot shower, comfy bed. Breakfast was fantastic and the evening meal was also very good in the restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very nice lounge also available to guests to chill out in. Location was fantastic. It was really peaceful, with a beautiful short walk down a wooded glen to the back of the Inn - so picturesque. At the top of the road - a short walk from the Inn, is the start of a fantastic walk across the moors, through historic points of interest eg foundations of medieval village, clapper bridge across a stream etc. The walk returned through a field of blue bells (month of May). It was exceptional.
