The staff were super friendly and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights en route to the south, in the 3 bedroom gite next to the river. We loved everything. Bourdeilles is small and stunningly beautiful. We spent a lazy day drinking coffee, strolling around town and having a picnic on the river bank (the river is gorgeous to swim in) before an excellent dinner on the hotel terrace.

We were welcomed by the staff who went out of their way to make our stay fabulous. The evening meal was excellent but they were also happy to recommend other restaurants and places to visit in the nearby town of Brantome. We had a great time from start to finsh!
