We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at Penelope Hotel in October. We wanted a relaxing holiday with both walks and seafood tavernas nearby and we achieved both. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, thanks to the friendliness of Kosta and his family. Our studio was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast offered a good varied selection, catering for all. As the hotel is situated in a quiet area of the island, with very limited/no bus service, having a car does help to visit other areas of the island. If you don’t hire your own car, a car can be hired at the hotel. Provided you can get to and from Messongi, a 15 min drive away, the public Green Buses, which have a ticket booth in Messongi, travel daily to and from Corfu, plus other areas, with a choice of times, for a few Euros.

Family run and so welcoming. Pool area with an abundance of beds and seating area with access to an Honesty Bar payable when leaving. Breakfasts varied and tasty. Located in a charming area easy to explore if you have transport. The family Restaurant is the best in the area a short walk away. Highly recommend.
