The apartment is located on a steep hillside, so renting a car is highly recommended. The hosts are very, very kind and helpful, and although they couldn’t communicate in English, they quickly found someone to help us, so we got answers to all our questions. The apartment is very spacious, and the terrace, which is separated from the living room, is a marvel in itself. It offers a fantastic view of the sea, and from the terrace, you can admire both the sunset and the moon setting. The apartment is well-equipped, and the kitchen has everything you need. It’s such a cool feeling to do the dishes while gazing out at the sea :-) It’s very handy that there are several portable fans in the apartment; these can be easily coordinated with the air conditioner running at night. The apartment is in a great location for exploring the entire Basse-Terre region, so I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place to stay in this part of the island.
