Service staff (the Brown lady presumably with South Asian heritage—wished I had her name) was exceptionally warm. Got the things I needed, more than I requested.

I expected it to be another overpriced Boston hotel, long on location and short on caring about customers. But I felt an attention to detail, friendliness, willingness to help that made me feel very comfortable. And I really loved the bees and the bee products in the bathroom; that's what set it apart in my mind. I just hope they recycle all the plastic bottles of water they give out…

Stayed for the marathon. The hotel made the event feel special with nice touches for the marathon. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
