Lovely cottage! We would recommend Sloe cottage to everyone who likes a quiet place with a nice view. It's possible to go on walks directly from the doorstep. There are some nice pubs and cafés in the next town. It takes you 15-30 minutes to walk there. Really enjoyed the live music there! The hosts were very nice and accommodating.

Slow Cottage is beautiful - modern and fresh and exceptionally clean and tidy. Adam and Melanie have provided everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable and easy. The view from the window was stunning but if you venture across to the cottage gardens you will be awestruck by the wide view out to the Atlantic Ocean. Because of the dark location, keen astronomers and stargazers will be delighted looking up to the heavens (if it’s a clear night of course). We were touched to find the tasty Cornish scones, with jam (spread first) and clotted cream kindly left by our hosts. Boscastle is the nearest village which should cater for anything you may have forgotten to bring. It has plenty of choices for places to eat and lots of shops for picking up gifts. Coming from Scotland we are lucky to have the most beautiful landscapes and villages which are a short drive from home but even we felt that Boscastle was the most stunning village we have ever had the pleasure to visit. The setting is unreal - like something from a film set - you have to see it to believe it.

Location is remote if no car but within 10 minutes of places to visit with a car. The cottage was clean and spacious and I arrived to a cream tea waiting and milk in the fridge.
