- great breakfast with homemade products - peaceful rural ambience - clean room, bedsheets and towels - nice owner - spacious terrace - great for those who like to pet animals (friendly dogs, cats, donkeys…)

We were welcomed by lovely and professional staff to a beautiful farmstay accommodation. We had a generous home cooked meal for dinner and plentiful and varied breakfast options. Easy to find with Google maps and parking onsite.

Beds that were good to sleep in, breakfast made from local products, great view of the Učka massif, pets in the surroundings, dinner like from (Istrian) mom.

Location is fantastic, central for all of Istria. Fabulous Breakfast. Bed super large and very comfortable. Totally quiet all night. Incredible shower.........Most important feature everything SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. Incredible value for Money, will stay here again and will stay longer. Onsite free parking.

The room rate comparing to the quality of the place is really reasonable. Tranquility of this place is unmatched. I managed to complete tasks of my PhD thesis in just three days, tasks that would have taken me a month elsewhere. Sitting and relaxing while listening to the sounds of birds, donkeys, and cows was incredibly relaxing for me. Although the amazing room facing the field was occupied when I checked in, my room was still lovely and nice. The entire place is charming, with a spacious bathroom and wonderful hosts. I didn't get to meet the owner and his wife since they were on vacation, but their daughter was very welcoming and attentive. They even checked daily if I needed fresh towels. The breakfast is delightful, especially the yogurt which like most of their food comes from their farm. Some guests have complained about the smell of animals but I found it to be not issue.at all. It actually adds to the feeling of being on a relaxing lovely farm. During my stay, the moon was almost full and sitting outside at night under the bright moon and clear starry sky was an extraordinary experience. By the way , don't miss having dinner on their resturant by the time before sunset .It's an amazing atmosphere to dine in by that time in front of the farm field with delicious food at reasonable prices. I would even recommend their restaurant by that time to anyone even if they are not staying at the farm. I highly recommend this place.

Very welcoming people. Amazing homemade food from their own farm. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Beautiful rural surroundings. Could not fault Agroturism Stara Stala at all. Thank you so much ! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
