We were so happy with our stay. The area is stunning and so peaceful. The house is beautiful with an incredible view of the sheep and their baby lambs (not to mention the stunning mountains). Honestly this place exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and comfortable and the host left us a little hamper. Also, about a 10 minute drive from Keswick and a small walk to a lovely hotel where you can have coffee and drinks. My partner and I also did Scaffel Pike. We started from Seathwaite which was about a 10 minute drive as well. Overall, really enjoyable stay.

Really well equipped, well decorated and well maintained property. Very comfortable. The welcome pack with wine and snacks was much appreciated. A nice touch that maps and games were available for use. Perfect for our trip of 4 adults keen on walking and with a car.

Views from the bedrooms were absolutely beautiful - we didn't turn on the TV once, just sat watching the lambs play in the fields instead. Very clean and comfortable. Location was great for getting the boat to different places across Derwent Water. Would return and would recommend to others to visit!
