Very easy to find the hotel, in a quiet area. We ate dinner in the restaurant, and the food was excellent. We really appreciated the air-conditioning unit in the room as the weather was very hot.

Lovely friendly welcome by staff. We stayed one night as we did last year to break up a journey from Norfolk to Glasgow area. Love some of the quirky decor 😀 Food is excellent had both a lovely dinner in the covered garden are and a gorgeous breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was served by one of the most happy morning people ever-remember him from last year and only sorry we didn’t get his name. Thank you for getting our day off to a good start😀 It’s location is lovely hearing the river and weir nearby

Convenient for being just off the A1 for an overnight stay to break up your journey. Debbie was very welcoming and so helpful when we arrived, she showed us to our ground floor room which was very clean, comfy, and quite large. The food was very varied and plenty of it and presented well, the staff couldn’t enough for you. They also have a large outside area.
