We booked this hotel because it explicitly allows dogs--we were travelling with a small dog. There was a slight confusion at check-in but this was quickly resolved by the receptionist and the owner himself. Both were very friendly and did they best to sort it out, and then they upgraded us to a larger room for free. The room was comfortable, and thanks to the upgrade, very spacious. The hotel is in an old chateau and as such it combines old-fashioned furniture, paintings and decorations with modern conveniences. We went for dinner to the brasserie on the premises and were very happy with the choice: excellent food, and good selection of local and mainstream beers.

What a beautiful place, nicely renovated into a luxury hotel, but without the extortionate price tag! Lots of history and quirky rooms to enjoy. Good games room and lounge area's. Lovely garden, quiet location. Welcome drink on arrival, was a nice touch! Food in restaurant was excellent.

The renovation from Mariagarde which we had both attended for courses 30 years ago is impressive. Rome wasn't built in a day so we wish you well in further improvements to graduate to 4 star.

It's absolutely beautiful place! Room spacious & clean with tea/coffee facilities. Lovely view from windows & very quiet around. The place is just stunning and the breakfast was just lovely with lots of choice of food & drinks. Staff very friendly. It felt all very laid back & relaxing. We had our dog with us & they are very dog friendly place too.
