Linda “Exactly the kind of rural retreat we like.”

Exactly as we expected a rural retreat to be. It’s tranquility, natural beauty and simplicity. Set in a small mountain village, within woodland grounds and outdoor swimming pool. Its cabin-style accommodation has the comfort and facilities of a hotel. A nice breakfast is available, and a choice of light evening meals/tapas (order in advance). There are some great hiking routes. There are shops and bars in other local villages, but you will need transport. Cristina, our host, was very kind, knowledgeable about the area, and professional. She speaks a little English, but you can communicate well via WhatsApp and using translation on your phone.

Cristina was a lovely host Due to remote location we were pleased there was a good menu in the evening We liked the individual chalet We loved the setting and layout of the large premises Excellent outdoor swimming pool Very good homemade breakfast and evening meals

Super cute property with lots of character and a huge garden with pool. Food is amazing and the stay was super relaxing.

The historic stone farmhouse (now the taperia, breakfast room and office) are just extraordinary. The gardens are lovely and the pool and sunloungers were the perfect spot to spend an afternoon. We stayed in the pool and garden cabins, and the garden cabin (while a bit more rustic in its facilities and decor) felt like it was in the forest. We woke up every day to an extraordinary view of the huge trees. Christina was an amazing host, and she made our stay very special.
