Jesse “Good for an overnight but some motorway noise”

Good for an overnight on a drive. Decent comfortable room. Friendly owners. Simple breakfast but the items were all tasty. Not really walkable to the center of the town. Unfortunately the noise from the motorway is disturbing for a light sleeper. I needed earplugs. (Also, unrelated to this hotel, I advise against driving the hilly road between Rio de Janeiro and Petropolis at night - it has many turns, is unlit, and generally felt stressful and unsafe!)

Wonderful hospitality, so warm and friendly. Breakfast was kindly adapted to my dietary restrictions. Location is very close to main street with great bars and restaurants, yet you feel like you’re in nature with all the greenery. All rooms have a great view of the valley.
