We are not beach resort people so the location was perfect. The nice clean sandy beach was just yards across a quiet road and the hills/cliffs just behind the small complex. It was the perfect mix of quiet but with enough facilities e.g. restaurant/ bars so you aren't totally isolated. The resort complex is on a human scale with nice pools/tennis courts etc. The apartments were a nice size and they provided us with beach umbrellas. Staff super friendly and helpful, as it was low season and quiet they let us have a late check out as our flight wasn't til 10. The restaurant food was good and they made decent cocktails. Perfect for exploring the historic sites of Cartagena and Murcia. The photos don't do it justice.

The location of the Oasis is out of this world, it overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and the vast Bolnuevo beach. It is a cool, breezy relaxed environment with great service and food
