The all place ! The room was great, with bathroom and AC. The common places, kitchen, terrace were great. The people working there were really nice to us. We really recommended this place in Bocas!

After 13 hours of traveling (4 buses, 1 taxi, and 2 boats) we arrived - exhausted - at BarrBra, where we were met with a warm and heartfelt “Welcome Home.” If you don’t like reading reviews, that’s basically all you need to know. That’s exactly what we needed to hear and what it felt like to us: Home. It took us about 35 minutes to extend our stay, simply because we were too afraid to go out for dinner without being 100% sure we could stay for the rest of our trip. Turns out, it was the best decision ever. Every little detail in this hidden gem reflects how much love, dedication, and thought has gone into it. Someone is clearly living their dream here. Marco and his crew (which includes not only incredibly kind and attentive humans, but also the most lovable animals (but more on the furry brigade later)) are postive-minded, funny, always available and made this stay truly extraordinary. The breakfast you’re met with each morning is another testament to the love and care poured into this place. I'm so glad we stayed long enough to try everything. Enjoying it in such a little slice of paradise made it even better. I honestly don’t understand how this place isn’t rated 10/10. Is it a 5-star hotel? No. Does it claim to be? Absolutely not. What it is, though, is a small oasis that makes you forget the outside world in the blink of an eye. It has got 5-star employees, and most importantly, it’s real. From check-in to check-out, you're met with genuine friendliness and thoughtful attention. ❤️ Also, the website is superb—so detailed, clear, and helpful. Now for the animalistic side of the house: Pipa 🦮, Loulou 🐕🦺, Jaja 🐈, and Johnny 🐈⬛. If you’re not usually fond of animals, this might just be the perfect place to make peace with them. You can feel how much love and care they receive. Their calm, relaxed demeanor can turn even the rainiest of days into cozy, cuddle-filled joy. Take care, keep living your dream and spreading this positive energy.

Absolutely fabulous stay, loved every second of it and I struggle to think of anything they could have improved on to be honest. We were there for two nights and were the only guests who didn’t heed the news of the civil unrest en route and boy did it pay off! After communicating with Marco we knew it was safe to continue travel to the ‘BnB’ and the journey was absolutely fine with no delays or disruptions. The benefit of us knowing the journey would be fine was that we had the whole place to ourselves, other than Marco and his team (Ray who makes the BEST breakfasts and their colleague whose name fails me right now, who sets the rooms up immaculately) there were also two adorable dogs and two beautiful cats on site (all local rescues) who all came together to make our stay feel just like home. Their tagline on the welcome guide full of local tips, recommendations and discounts is ‘Welcome Home’ and it was spot on! They have thought of everything and went out of their way to make our stay as memorable and comfortable as possible and some. The weather wasn’t fully on our side for our stay but it was chilled, with beautiful views from both the open air deck and sheltered hammock area, impeccable service and we had practically the choice of the rooms, even after an immediate upgrade. The place is only a few minutes walk from the livelier centre but it’s 100% worth it, after extensive travel over the last 10 years this is comfortably the best all round experience I have had and I would recommend to anyone to book this wonderful property for your stay in Bocas Del Toro (and already have). Also worth noting that within the welcome guide there are discounts offered on recommended restaurants and activities in BDT, we benefitted from these twice in restaurants and once in a bar and they were 10/10, Marco even booked our onward transport from BDT at a far better price than we’d found ourselves.
