The hotel was reasonably (not cheap) priced (for Paris prices) and in walking distance (10-15min) to the metro (line 7 which was actually good for getting around). the area does offer some fast food options, supermarkets/discounters and a bakery. This can be convenient for the traveller who wants to stock up on the way to Paris, and who may still want some food when he comes back at night. The room was okay, I did not feel the hotel or the room was unclean. The bed was well made. I slept well, but it did not evoke a feeling of luxury either. The room was clean, the bath was clean. No complaints there. It did not feel like a place where you cant stay for a night or two, but it says a lot when the best thing you can come up with is "it wasnt too terrible" I did not try the breakfast. If you want a bed to sleep in and do trips to the city and come back at night, and are okay with either eating in the city or fast food, and are not afraid to walk through streets that have seen better days and this is the best price per day you can find, this is worth considering
