Location is just ideal, plenty of activities around to keep everyone busy! Light breakfast was included and it was amazing - tasty porridge, homemade bread & jams and of course plenty of coffee.

Good location in a small village with a shop, pub and restaurant, well away from touristy Aviemore. The owners are very welcoming. Breakfast is great: fresh bread, coffee and home made marmelade.

The hotel was nice and quiet but well situated right in the centre of Boat of Garten with some lovely, peaceful woods a few minutes walk away. The evening meals (for which you pay extra) used home-grown produce from the wonderful garden and were very good indeed! The hotel owner was very helpul and friendly and knows the local area very well so can give advice on where to go and what to do. There is also a well-equipped kitchen if you prefer the self-catering option
