We were upgraded to the church which is an absolutely stunning place to stay. Very sumptuous and with complimentary drinks. It was very quirky and we loved it.

We stayed here as stop in our tour of Iceland, between the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and our next stop in Husavik. Our rooms were ready on arrival, and were clean and comfortable. Off street parking was available behind the hotel and a really nice breakfast was included in the rate. As we didn't have dinner in the hotel and we were off again straight after breakfast, we didn't really experience much more of the hotel, but it did all that we needed and was good value.

This is a beautifully designed and decorated hotel offering a very comfortable refuge on a cold and wet day. Lovely view from our room and excellent breakfast including a make your own waffle station.
